A magical time of learning and self-expression

Talking Horses & Other Stories runs unique events for children exploring communication and expression through a magical blend of working with horses and ponies and creative storytelling and writing.

Children are taught the special language of ponies and using fun, play and grooming and loving the ponies, they learn how to listen to, understand and talk to them.

Inspired by their time exploring outside and getting to know the ponies and other animals, children then imagine and write their very own stories.  With plenty of exciting adventures to draw on and a bag of  full ideas, everyone has a special story to tell.

Talking Horses runs events from its base in the Oxfordshire Cotswolds but also takes its inspiring formula, and wonderful miniature Shetland ponies, to schools and events across the region.  We work with children with diverse needs, tailoring our approach to suit individuals and groups.
